President’s Message

Welcome to Women's Energy Network (WEN) Boston fifth year!  I am honored to serve as your President, and I look forward to working with this wonderful community in 2022.  We have so much to accomplish together!

Once again, WEN Boston has a packed agenda planned for 2022.  We will focus on continuing to provide a platform for engagement and education within our three pillars: Expertise, Career Development and Community.  We have added additional engagement opportunities for executive women, initiated outreach to college aged women, and expanded our partnership with women in the venture and start up community.  As we did in 2021, WEN Boston will continue to be flexible with the in person and virtual programming and hope that by the end of the year we can offer more in person opportunities to connect with each other.  Our Board of Directors has now expanded to include 16 members representing 13 energy companies.  In late 2021 we also added an Executive Board with five C-level women from different companies advising the operation board on a variety of strategic topics.  The WEN Boston board is a power house group of women committed to cultivating inclusivity, personal connections and career development opportunities across the WEN community here in Boston and beyond.

Thank you to our WEN members and sponsors for your ongoing support and engagement of WEN Boston's mission. We are passionate about the work we are doing to empower, connect and educate women in the energy industry. We openly welcome new members passionate about energy and climate change and empowering women to succeed in leadership roles. Please reach out to me to learn more about joining our board, a committee or to become more involved and help WEN Boston make 2022 a great success.
