Prior to joining Siemens in 2019, she held positions as Director of Originations for onshore renewables at Orsted and Senior Program Manager with the Electric Power Research Institute, leading innovative wind, solar, and hydropower generation research. In 2005, she joined NextEra Energy, spending many of her ten years there as a Business Development Director, leading development and originations of over 1.5GW of new battery storage, wind, and solar projects across the U.S.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering, with a minor in mathematics, from Clemson University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
She resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two lab rescues.

Her primary areas of expertise include reptile ecophysiology and bats of the eastern and central U.S., including over two decades of experience with the Indiana bat, gray bat, and northern long-eared bat. Other areas of expertise include environmental compliance strategy, risk management, and program management. Ms. Gregory is responsible for SWCA’s offices in the eastern and central U.S., including Raleigh, NC; Pittsburgh, PA; Chicago, IL; Amherst, MA; Boston, MA; and Portland, ME. Hurley first joined ABB in 2001 and has held a variety of customer facing positions within the company. She spent eleven years within our Power Generation Controls business building customer relationships and matching the product and service portfolio to customers’ requirements. She also served as the Strategic Account Manager for the Duke Energy and was responsible for all four ABB Divisions that supply product, systems, and services to Duke Energy. Prior to her current role, she served as the Vice President for Southeastern Utility Accounts within the former Power Grids division.
Hurley is a graduate of Ohio University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Hurley completed her Master of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering with a concentration in Engineering Management at Cleveland State University. Hurley is lean six sigma yellow belt certified. Hurley is a native of Ohio and in her spare time enjoys endurance training for half marathons. She has volunteered and mentored for Girls on Run and the Leukemia and Lymphoma society where she has helped raise over $70,000 to support cancer research.
Kelsi MarianiSponsorship DirectorSiemens Energy, Inc.Kelsi Mariani is currently a Project Manager on the Business Excellence team at Siemens, reporting out of their office in Wendell, North Carolina. In her role, she supports process improvement efforts, managing a portfolio of cost savings initiatives and the implementation of larger strategic projects. Her passion project at Siemens has been developing and managing an intern program for their facility. Prior to coming to Siemens, Kelsi worked at PSE&G in New Jersey in the electric outage planning and scheduling team in the construction department. It was in this department that she developed her love of working with interns, managing their 25 person program. While at PSE&G she was also a founding member of the employee business resource group called BALANCE, centered around work life balance, advocating for and supporting the needs of working parents and those caring for elders. Outside of work, Kelsi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and developing her gardening and cooking skills. Emphasis on developing (don’t ask her daughter about her baking skills…).
