Soo KimPresidentSenior Manager, North American Electric Reliability Corp (NERC)Soo Jin is currently the Manager of Standards Development, and prior to this role, she served as the Manager of Reliability Operations reporting directly to the Chief Reliability Officer and Senior Vice President, Mark Lauby. Soo Jin began at NERC in December 2012 in the Atlanta, Georgia office as a Standards Developer. Before joining NERC, Soo Jin was an Associate at Troutman Sanders LLP in Washington, DC in their Federal Energy practice. At Troutman Sanders, Soo Jin worked on a variety of federal energy regulatory matters. Prior to attending law school, Soo Jin was a consultant/business analyst with various consulting firms focused on energy and commodity trading. Soo Jin has a BA in Economics and English from the University of Georgia, and she received her Juris Doctorate from American University.
Jodie HartPresident ElectManager, Governmental Relations, Atlanta Gas LightJodie Hart is the Manager of Governmental Affairs for Atlanta Gas Light. She managed the Southern Company Gas volunteer program for six years.
Jodie is a recipient of the 2013 Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award, which recognizes exceptional volunteer service providing Scouting for disadvantaged youth in challenging urban and rural areas.
Jodie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Government Affairs Committee. She is also on the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber and Gwinnett Chamber Board of Directors. She is the Past President of the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta. Previously, Jodie served on the Board of Directors of Cool Girls and currently serves on its Advisory Board. Jodie is a graduate of Leadership DeKalb, Regional Leadership Institute of the ARC and a proud graduate of the University of Georgia.

Elsa PrinceSecretaryNorth American Electric Reliability Corp (NERC)Elsa is the Principal Advisor of the Power Risk Issues and Strategic Management team at NERC. She has also served as the Principal Advisor in the Balancing and Operations Analysis team. She managed the activities of the NERC Resources Subcommittee, its three working groups; and performed the technical and logistical tasks in support of the NERC balancing standards. She has also served as the Manager of Standards Development and the Secretary of the Generating Availability Data System (GADS) team.
Overall, Elsa has 25 years of electric utility experience. She has served in multiple roles including working as a T & D Research Engineer at EPRI, and as a Senior Performance Improvement Engineer at Southern Nuclear.
Elsa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Elsa resides in Marietta, Georgia with her husband, Warren and daughter, Hannah.
Shannon CowlingTreasurerDirector of Property Accounting & Payment Services, Southern CompanyShannon Cowling is the Director of Property and Utility Accounting at Southern Company Gas. In this role, she oversees the property and plant assets as well as the financial results of the four gas utilities. Shannon joined Southern Company Gas in 1999 as an intern and has since held roles throughout the company’s Accounting organization, including in Finance & Accounting at SouthStar Energy Services prior to moving to the corporate headquarters in 2013.
As a native of Atlanta, Georgia, Shannon earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Georgia State University, and a master’s degree in business administration at Mercer University.

In additional to her responsibilities in the Atlanta office, she serves in a National role leading a team of individuals across various offices and building a center of expertise within the power and utilities sector that has the insight across multiple engagements to be able to provide consistent service delivery and quality on key audit areas. Amy is a “Double Dawg” as she obtained both her BBA in Accounting and her Master’s in Accounting from the University of Georgia.

Anne WebbMembership DirectorRetail Partnerships and Channel Development, Southern CompanyAnne Webb serves as Retail Partnerships and Channel Development Manager for SouthStar Energy Services, a division of Southern Company. In this role, she has responsibility for developing acquisition programs through partnerships and third party sales channels in the states where the company provides deregulated natural gas services.
Before assuming her current role, Webb served as Energy Manager for the Multifamily program at SouthStar Energy where she was responsible for the company’s marketing, business development, and customer service support. She also has held marketing, corporate sales, communications and business development roles with Cox Automotive, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Pooja ShahLeadership DirectorSupervisor - Real Time Systems, Southern CompanyPooja Shah is a Supervisor with Operations Support group at Georgia Power Company. She currently leads a team of engineers and analysts supporting operation of the Transmission and Distribution Control Centers on a real-time basis. She is responsible for ensuring all projects are modeled, and maintained accurately in real-time systems to provide reliable support for the control centers. In addition, she’s also instrumental in assisting with the Southern Linc LTE conversion projects. Given her background in renewable energy, Pooja is also part of the Integrated Resource Plan team at Georgia Power.
Prior to joining Georgia Power, Pooja worked as a Senior Engineer at North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) where she successfully led NERC’s Essential Reliability Services Working Group (ERSWG), and Distributed Energy Resources Task Force (DERTF). She also led NERC’s seasonal assessments, short-term assessments, supported other long term reliability projects, managed reliability risk assurance projects, and assisted cross functional teams. Before NERC, Pooja worked as a Senior Engineer for Eversource Energy (previously known as Public Service of New Hampshire, Northeast Utilities). She has an extensive experience of over 12 years in the industry.
Pooja earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of New Hampshire; and her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Pooja also holds a Graduate Certificate in Power Systems Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Pooja is the winner of 2015 Atlanta IEEE – PES Young Engineer of the Year award.
Pooja is a strong advocate for getting education, and likes to volunteer for education and STEM related activities. Outside of work, she likes to socialize with friends and family, exercise and travel.

In her role at Kennedy, Leah reviewed economic evaluations and planning studies while performing ad hoc analysis in preparation of expert witness testimony in regulatory proceedings across the country.
