Presentation regarding decarbonization and how it relates to power generation. As the power generation industry in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio areas were traditionally fueled by coal, gas, or nuclear, Linette will discuss the opportunities hydrogen and other decarbonization technologies can bring to the renewable space in this area.

Beth will speak about career barriers women have historically faced in the energy industry while providing strategies to overcome these and to develop leadership skills to power forward in their careers.

Legal updates in this area including how reclaimed coal mines can lease land for renewable development, especially solar.

Environmental, Social and Governance goals have been recently more prevalent in the energy industry creating a unique challenge for companies. This panel will highlight three women with significant contribution to their companies ESG goals. The panelists will discuss the challenges with developing baseline metrics within all levels of ESG as well as the tools they have used to develop goals. The panelists will also discuss what their companies have been doing to work towards those goals.
