Setting Your Vision. Set yourself up for success in 2020. At the end of this workshop, you will have a career action plan to get to where you want to be by the end of the year and by 2025. You will create (or update) your career goals and come out with specific next steps you need to take to achieve these. We will also discuss resources available to help you reach your goals and how to leverage them.
As the Director for Workforce Development at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, Tamika Jacques has created various workforce initiatives, including the Successful Women in Clean Energy Program, the Learn and Earn Program, Clean Energy Activity Day, the annual Clean Energy Symposium for Higher Education, and the Internship Program. Prior to joining MassCEC, Tamika served as the Executive Director for the Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board, where she oversaw job training programs for the Commonwealth, developed and published policy reports around the Governor’s workforce development priorities and led and established collaborations with both state, business and local partners in the workforce development system. Tamika holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from Suffolk, a Master of Science in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Johnson & Wales University.
