Colorado Chapter: Adapting Advocacy

Colorado Chapter: Adapting Advocacy
Join us on July 8 from 8:00 am - 9:00 am (MT) to hear about Adapting Advocacy – The Changing Face of Communication.

The rapid changes in our work setups have forced many to begin utilizing new technology to continue communicating – but this is far from the first-time new outreach methods have been deployed.

Join Brittany Ramos and Amber Vineyard with Orion Strategies to learn why solid, proactive communication about an energy project is the best way to ensure you stay on time and on budget, and provide insights on how to continue adapting in our ever-changing world.

Amber Vineyard has spent her career navigating communications across both regular media and social media platforms and currently serves as a Senior Account Executive for Orion Strategies. Vineyard routinely takes the lead on social networking issues and provides overviews in this area for media training seminars. She has managed and assisted numerous associations and overseen the execution of public relations campaigns on their behalf. Vineyard is a native of Atwater, California and a graduate of Davis & Elkins College. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a concentration in Business Management.

Brittany Ramos is a Senior Account Executive for Orion Strategies. She has been recognized over the years for her excellence in creating and managing effective communication strategies as well as for her work in the energy industry. Brittany is an active member in several organizations and currently serves on the Board of the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and on the Carnegie Shade Tree Commission. She also served as the first WEN National Marketing & Communications Director and as a director for WEN - Greater Pittsburgh. Brittany graduated from Penn State University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Public Relations and Psychology and received her Master’s degree in Sociology from Sam Houston University.
