About Our Guest Speaker:

Jeannie Gardner is currently the GM of the Center of Excellence within Trading & Supply Business Excellence. She’s been at Shell for 14 years. She leads a team of professions focused on enabling process, data and information consistency across Trading and Supply. Jeannie is committed to the community. She is currently serving on the board of Girls Inc. Houston, and chairs the Foundation of the Women's Energy Network. She also served as the National President of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) 2017-2018, a 4500-member organization that provides networking opportunities for women in the energy industry and fosters career and leadership development. She has served on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) and is currently on the BBBS Advisory Board. She has also served as President of WEN-Houston, President of the Society of Women Engineers Houston Area Section, President of the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers Gulf Coast Section. At Shell, she currently serves as a sponsor for the SAPENG (Shell Asian Pacific Networking Group) and is an active mentor and coach focused on development of people. At Shell Jeannie has been integral in helping develop new talent. She not only mentors in Shell mentoring circles she also acts as a one-on-one mentor and a coach to many young Shell employees. She participates yearly as a Shell recruiter for Society of Women Engineers talking to young girls about opportunities at Shell and how they can develop themselves and their careers.
