According to PersonalBrand.com, widely accepted definition of the personal brand is the largely uniform perception or impression of an individual based on their experience, expertise, competencies, actions and/or achievements within a community, industry, or the marketplace at large. The importance of personal brand in the post-Covid environment is becoming especially important, as many professionals transition from several years of working at home to hybrid or in-person workplace settings. In addition, the period of “great resignation” and professional transitions to either new careers or new employers, create new expectations on employees. Finally, even for those of us, remaining in current roles, personal development is central to both our personal growth and career satisfaction. This session will focus on developing understanding of personal brand components and best practices for creating your own personal brand during times of change and transition.
