Houston Chapter: July 15 Virtual Luncheon
Join us on July 15 at 12:00 pm Central to hear about the “Energy Workforce of the Future Initiative” being led by Evelyn MacLean-Quick, Vice President: Energy Workforce Transformation at Hess Corporation.
Ms. MacLean-Quick will share why this initiative is important and her perspectives on the future of work in the energy sector given increased market emphasis on Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”).
About Our Speaker:
Evelyn MacLean-Quick is Vice President: Energy Workforce Transformation for Hess Corporation, a global independent energy company engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas.
MacLean-Quick has been seconded to create an industry-wide C-suite forum, working with other key industry representatives, to drive and deliver a diversified Workforce of the Future that aims to successfully meet the needs of the industry and its social impacts. In her previous role as Chief Procurement Officer and Head of Global Supply Chain, she was accountable for procurement and category management, materials management, procure-to-pay, supplier quality and logistics processes globally. She joined Hess in February 2015 as Vice President, Strategic Sourcing with responsibility for category management and developing trusted, long-term partnerships with suppliers.
Previously, MacLean-Quick was with BP in the U.S. for eight years, most recently as Vice President, Global Wells Supply Chain. She was also Vice President, Drilling and Completions Category Management; Well Services Sector Director; and Global Procurement and Supply Chain Manager – Transformation. Earlier in her career, she spent 18 years with The Halliburton Company in various supply chain leadership roles, four years with Marathon, and seven years with Brown and Root in project certification and quality assurance.
She holds a master’s degree from INSEAD in Consulting and Coaching for Change, and a bachelor’s degree in Management from Bellevue University, and has studied Law at Aberdeen University and Psychology at Inverness Technical College. More recent studies include Neuroscience for Leadership at MIT Sloan Executive Education.

Any amount is appreciated and helps accomplish our 2020-21 goal of awarding 20 $10,000 scholarships to young local high school women seeking a STEM focused degree.
