WEN Global Membership Grants

The past few years have been especially tough on women in the workplace, particularly for women in the energy industry. COVID-19 has been and continues to be a major disruption on our lives and careers. McKinsey's "Women in the Workplace 2020" study indicates that "one in four women are considering downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce due to COVID-19."  Mothers, senior-level women, and minority women all face distinct challenges, including burnout, layoffs, impacts from dismantling of the school/childcare support system, and the emotional toll of COVID-19 and racial violence. These challenges are threatening to reverse years of progress towards gender diversity in the workplace.
WEN is committed now more than ever before to investing in women and taking action to support them in their careers.  As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated economic hardships in the energy industry, Women's Energy Network (WEN) has recognized a need for grants to cover all or a portion of WEN membership dues for members who are currently in a financial crisis. These grants are made possible by the Foundation for the Women's Energy Network.
