Ashleigh Everett Advisory Council Member Hunt Oil Company Ashleigh Everett is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Hunt Oil Company, a privately-held, diversified energy company based in Dallas, Texas. Ashleigh joined Hunt in 2011 and focuses her career on both international and U.S. oil, gas and LNG transactions. She is responsible for legal matters related to Hunt’s U.S. and Peruvian assets, managing M&A, finance and other transactions as well as any related litigation. Prior to joining Hunt, Ashleigh specialized in oil and gas transactions at Thompson & Knight LLP. Ashleigh previously served on the Board of Directors of the North Texas Chapter of WEN. She holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University and a J.D. from The University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Ann Walters Advisory Council Member Ernst & Young (EY) Ann has over 20 years of professional consulting experience successfully managing and growing IT projects for clients in the power and utility industry. She is a Senior Manager at EY within their Advisory Services line dedicated to activities associated with Process Improvements and Oracle technologies. Ann’s expertise is in developing solutions for her clients, business process analysis, project management and implementation of complex projects. She has deep knowledge of functional aspects of both regulated and deregulated operations within the utility industry with a focus on Customer Information and Billing Systems. Ann has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University.
Kimberly Randolph, PE, PMP Advisory Council Member Xcel Energy Kim Randolph is amongst the leaders in power generation at Xcel Energy where she takes her responsibility seriously to deliver upon the company’s vision to be the industry leader in delivering renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions while providing safe, reliable and affordable energy. As Vice President of engineering and construction in Energy Supply, Kim holds accountability for the strategic capital investment plan and execution of all Energy Supply capital projects across 77+ generation plants in eight Western and Midwestern states. Kim believes that clean, reliable and affordable energy today will provide future generations with exciting STEM opportunities in an environmentally responsible world where they can thrive. Kim has enjoyed various roles during her 25 year combined career in the petrochemical, natural gas and power industries. Prior to Xcel Energy, Kim garnered success at BP where she served as Vice President of Projects and held accountability for the execution of $2B of wind projects across North America. Kim is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Kim holds a MBA from the University of Texas and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. She has served on the WEN board in many capacities, including YWE Chair, Membership Director and Board President. A native and long time Houstonian, Kim currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her family.
Elizabeth Matthews Advisory Council Member Total USA Elizabeth Matthews is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc. in Houston. She is responsible for directing the legal affairs of the company, including transactional, litigation, compliance, intellectual property and environmental matters. She leads a team of twenty professionals, including attorneys, paralegals, compliance personnel and administrative staff. She chairs the Total US Ethics Committee and US Women’s Network. Prior to joining Total in 2013, Ms. Matthews was a member of the legal team at Chevron for eleven years where she worked in a number of different business units, including Global Downstream, Corporation Law, Energy Technology and Global Drilling and Completions. During the early part of her career, Matthews worked in Washington, D.C. for two major law firms – Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP and Dickstein Shapiro LLP. She also served as a federal law clerk for the U.S. District Court in Philadelphia. Matthews graduated with honors from Yale University with a humanities and history major in 1992 and earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 1995. Matthews is a Board member of the Texas General Counsel Forum and the Harvard Law School Club of Houston. She serves on the Advisory Council and is a past President of the Women’s Energy Network. She is past President of the American Petroleum Labor Lawyer’s Association and a member of the Association of Corporate Council. . She is actively involved in giving back to her community and serves as the Founder and President of the Texas Sage Chapter of the National Charity League.
Terrance Lane Wilson Advisory Council Member Williams Lane Wilson was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Williams in April 2017. He had previously been appointed to the federal bench as a Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Oklahoma, presiding over both civil and criminal matters, including substantial civil mediation responsibilities. He served on the Tenth Circuit Judicial Council and was the Northern District’s designated judge on electronic discovery issues in criminal cases. In 2016, he was appointed to the Judicial Conference Committee on Criminal Law by Chief Justice John Roberts. Prior to his judicial service, Wilson was a partner and member of the Board of Directors for Hall, Estill in Tulsa. His practice focused on complex commercial litigation, including both trial and appellate work. The team of litigation attorneys and paralegals Wilson managed represented energy, telecommunications, technology, and construction companies. Prior to attending law school, Wilson worked for Exxon (now Exxon/Mobil).
Lori Fremin Advisory Council Member Shell Oil Company Lori Fremin is the General Manager of Disruptive Thinking for Global Deepwater. Until May of 2020, she was the General Manager of Surface Engineering in the Gulf of Mexico. She was responsible for safely and sustainably delivering the surface technical and operational engineering needs for Shell’s Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Assets. Her organization also covered the operations and surveillance engineering requirements for the new developments and the technical authority support for rest of Deepwater and an asset in IG. In addition to supporting the base business, the organization executed the subsea intervention, maintenance and repair services, the production chemical services for the assets, the hydrocarbon allocation and metering, and the Bridge Operations Team Services which include Exception Based Surveillance leveraging Descriptive and Predictive Analytics. Her organization partnered with global organizations including key teams in Bangalore and Chennai. She is unique in that she has held Surface and Subsurface Technical leadership roles and over her career, she has held Planning, Operational, Enterprise Architecture and Commercial management positions. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and has worked for Shell in Houston, Calgary, New Orleans, Geismar and short-term roles in Rijswijk, Hague, Aberdeen and Perth. Internally, she has started up several employee resource groups within Shell, the Facilities and Reliability Engineering Network, Louisiana Women’s organization, New Professionals Network Calgary and the LGBT+ or SEAShell in New Orleans while actively supporting Shell Asian Pacific Employee Network Group (SAPENG) throughout her career. Externally, she has contributed to the industry by volunteering to support API, SPE, OEC, Catalyst, AME, WEN, WBENC, HPF, various Chambers of Commerce and CaPAW. For the community, she volunteers through her church, Alpha Charity League, various other charities and supports her children’s activities.
Rasheedah Jones Advisory Council Member Baker Hughes Rasheedah “Rah” Jones is the global HR Director for the Digital Solutions Process & Pipeline Solutions business (PPS). Most recently she was the HR Director for Digital Technology and Legal at Baker Hughes. She partners with leaders to drive strategic initiatives such talent development, performance management, staffing/recruiting, and organization design and leadership. Rah began her career in 2003 at Merck & Company, Inc. She is a graduate of the HRLP program (Human Resources Leadership Program) in which she held numerous roles primarily working in manufacturing plants as an HR Generalist. She joined General Electric (Aviation) in 2008. She was a plant HR leader for several facilities and was also the Global Teaming Leader. In 2014 she joined GE Oil and Gas and has worked with senior leaders and employees in HSE (Health, Safety, Environment, Security), Digital Technology, and Legal. Rah is a very passionate and committed Human Resources leader. She is very passionate about talent and helping employees achieve their career goals. She is involved various internal and external affinity groups and is never shy about her commitment to diversity. She is a fierce advocate in that she works tirelessly to recruit and promote women and underrepresented populations. She is currently the Baker Hughes Women’s Network Global HR Sponsor. Rah has her undergraduate degree from Fisk University and she holds a Masters in HR & Labor Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Masters in Organizational Management & Leadership from Fielding Graduate University. She also has an Evidence Based Coaching Certification from Fielding Graduate University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Jack and Jill of America, Inc, a Hogan Certified Executive Assessor, Women’s Energy Network (WEN) Advisory Council member, was featured in Houston’s Voyager Online Magazine, and Houston Business Journal’s 2018 40 under 40 Award Recipient.
