As Chief Risk Officer for GE Capital’s $15Bn Energy Financial Services business, Dawn is an independent risk leader tasked to review & approve proposed transactions to ensure safe & disciplined growth for the business. She oversees structuring and underwriting of debt and equity deals to meet customer needs and maintain high asset quality, with accountability for non-earnings, credit costs and other financial metrics. Prior to her current role, Dawn held a senior risk leadership role at GE Capital headquarters where she was responsible for overseeing new business underwriting, portfolio management and regulatory risk reporting for GE Capital’s Real Estate and Energy Financial Services businesses. Dawn joined GE in 2002 and has held various risk positions including debt and equity underwriting and portfolio management of power generation and renewable energy projects. Prior to GE, Dawn worked for 12 years at ABB Financial Services. She was based in Zurich, primarily making equity investments in the emerging market energy sector.
Dawn is a contributing author of The Handbook of Loan Syndications & Trading, co-published by the LSTA and McGraw-Hill. She holds a BA from Rutgers University, an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University and studied at the Stockholm School of Economics.« Back to advisory council
