Assertiveness Skills for Career Success Join WEN for an interactive 4-hour workshop with Alison Valli and Shirley Wulf of Clearwater Consultants!
You are not alone in walking this fine line. Assertiveness skills for women are vital for getting things done, getting what you want, commanding respect, and becoming an influential leader. The person with effective assertiveness skills sends the right signals and gets the right responses. In this interactive workshop, learn how to develop assertiveness skills to deal with any situation - without coming across as either too pushy or a pushover.
Workshop participants will:
- Identify what assertive behavior is and is not
- Understand their own behavior patterns and the patterns of others, both of which affect one's assertiveness
- Identify and replace weak words with words that project confidence
- Learn and practice assertive communication techniques: verbal and nonverbal assertive behaviors
