Interested in Starting a WEN Chapter?

Developing a professional chapter in your area can be a professionally and socially rewarding experience. It just takes an enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteer leaders to begin the process! We use a multi-step process that evolves over several months, working closely with the WEN Global President-Elect. The process includes an assessment of energy companies in the region, demographics, and a list of potential chapter leaders, which informs an official application for a new Chapter. Application materials are developed by local leaders and then presented for consideration by the Global Board of Directors. Once the Chapter is formally approved, WEN provides start-up materials, including a handbook, Chapter logo, website, etc., to help establish and promote the group in the local area.
