Program Overview
The WEN Greater New York City Mentoring Program connects women across the energy sector to share career guidance, build professional skills, and expand networks. Open exclusively to active WEN GNYC members, the program welcomes participants as mentors or mentees.
How It Works
Participants are placed in small "mentoring circles" - typically 4-6 mentees and up to two mentors - matched by shared interests and goals. Circles meet every six weeks, virtually or in person, to discuss topics such as salary negotiation, navigating career transitions, and mapping your network. A discussion guide helps break the ice and keep conversations productive.
Why Join
Small mentoring circles create a welcoming space for open conversation, shared experiences, and meaning connections. Learn directly from accomplished women in energy, including current WEN Board members, who offer guidance, insight, and inspiration.
Events & Networking
In addition to circle meetings, partipants are invited to exclusive events:
- Kick-off session,
- Cross-circle networking events, and
- Closing celebration
These gatherings offer valuable opportunities to connect with peers, deepen relationships, and grow your network.
