On April 29, 2024, the Women's Energy Network celebrated a significant milestone at the 2024 WEN Conference: the official launch of the Dominican Republic Chapter. This chapter is dedicated to connecting women professionals in the energy industry, fostering networking opportunities, and facilitating collaboration with companies committed to their growth. As the energy industry in the Dominican Republic experiences remarkable expansion and promising prospects, it's crucial to prioritize the professional advancement of women. 

The founding board includes representatives from leading entities like Empresa Generadora De Electricidad Haina (EGE Haina), AES Dominicana, Consorcio Energético Punta Cana Macao (CEPM), and Grupo Marti, all serving as key founding members of the chapter. 

The inaugural board of directors is represented by:
