Dear Members and Friends of the Women’s Energy Network Florida Chapter,

As we close out our inaugural year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for what we have accomplished together. When we first launched the Florida Chapter, we set out with a vision: to create a vibrant, supportive community for women in energy across our state. Thanks to the dedication and passion of our inaugural board members—and each of you—we are continuing to realize that vision, reaching an incredible milestone of 200 members in our very first year. This achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and the shared commitment we all have to advancing women in the energy sector. Our events, networking opportunities, and professional development programs have already begun to make a meaningful impact, and I am inspired every day by the energy, expertise, and enthusiasm you bring to our network.

As the holiday season approaches, I encourage you to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the company of family and friends. This is a special time to reflect on our successes and prepare for the exciting year ahead—a year that promises even more opportunities for growth, learning, and connection. The energy sector is evolving rapidly, and 2026 will be a busy and transformative year for all of us. Now, more than ever, we need to support one another, share our knowledge, and lift each other up. Our network is uniquely positioned to help us navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we will continue to foster a community where every member can thrive, develop professionally, and make a lasting impact in our industry.
