Mission Statement 

The Mentoring Program supports personal and professional development for women in the energy industry by creating a network that cultivates professional growth, knowledge exchange, and leadership development through monthly mentorship connections and collaborative workshops. 

Program Overview

The WEN Houston Mentoring Program provides a safe and supportive environment for members to receive career guidance and participate in professional development opportunities via small group mentoring circle discussions. This program is open to all WEN Houston Chapter members who are interested in participating as either a mentor or a mentee.

Participants in the program will join their individual mentoring circles for monthly meetings facilitated by experienced mentors to discuss a variety of topics targeted to inspire an engaging conversation that will support professional development and a space to share career experiences.

In addition to the monthly circles, the mentoring program includes several events, including an opener event and two specialty workshops exclusive to program participants. These events provide wonderful opportunities to network and connect with fellow mentors and mentees, while delving deeper into a specific topic that fits with the theme for the year.

Registration Process

The Mentoring Program runs roughly coincident with the school year, beginning in September of each year and ending in May.
