Dear WEN Boston Members and Friends,

As we move into the second half of the year, I want to take a moment to reflect on everything our WEN Boston community has accomplished together so far. The year is flying by, but looking back at the past six months, I am incredibly proud of the connection, innovation, and momentum we’ve built.

First, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Appreciation Event in March! Set in the beautiful venue at the College Club of Boston, it was a wonderful evening of great company and strong representation from our incredible sponsors and partners. 

A major focus for us this year has been ensuring our members and partners truly experience the full value of the WEN Global Network. Through increased cross-chapter marketing and collaboration, we’ve seen a tremendous rise in WEN Boston members attending events hosted by our sister chapters across the nation.

Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of spearheading a multi-chapter series focused on "Powering the AI Era." Over a dozen WEN chapters have participated in this series so far, sparking insightful conversations on how to meet increasing demands and complexity to our grid infrastructure. We have a few more events in this series coming up through the end of the year, so be sure to tune in! Because of the series' success, WEN Global plans to run a similar global series next year. The topic is TBD, so we’d love to hear your ideas—send us your requests!

To support our local members in their day-to-day work lives, WEN Boston also launched Monthly WEN Work Days. These coworking sessions offer a fantastic opportunity for our remote and hybrid members to switch up their scenery, work alongside peers, and take breaks to chat and build organic connections.
Looking at our calendar, it has been jam-packed with high-value programming—from our ongoing Finance Series to hands-on facility tours and insightful panel discussions. But we aren't slowing down! We still have so much planned for the remainder of the year. Be sure to check out our Events Page regularly to register for upcoming opportunities.

Finally, looking a bit further ahead—2027 marks the 10-Year Anniversary of the WEN Boston Chapter! Planning is already underway to celebrate a decade of empowering women in energy across Greater Boston. Stay tuned for exciting announcements as we get closer.
