WEN Boston's Commitment

Welcome to the WEN Boston Scholarship Application! We are excited to continue our mission of empowering the next generation of women leaders in the energy sector.

Since 2023, WEN Boston has awarded one-time scholarships to outstanding students across Massachusetts who are committeed to shaping the future of the energy industry. our scholarships support students who demonstrate academic excellence, meaningful engagement in the energy sector, and a passion for making a positive impact.

Eligibility Requirements

The WEN Boston Scholarship is open to applicants who meet the following criteria: 

• Identify as female
• Are 21 years of age or older at the time of application
• Are currently pursing an undergraduate degree
• Are enrolled in a college or university located in the Greater Boston Area
• Demonstrate a clear commitment to a career in the energy sector, as evidenced by:
  • Relevant coursework
  • Internships or employment experience
  • Participation in energy-related student organizations
  • A declared major or academic focus related to the energy field
  • Have more than one semester remaining in their undergraduate program at the time of application. (Students in their final semester or who have already paid tuition for their final term are not eligible.)

Scholarship Benefits

Selected recipients will receive:

• $2,500 towards tuition expenses

• One year of mentorship with a WEN member
