Dear WEN Boston Members and Friends,

As we embrace the energy and renewal that spring brings, I am thrilled to share some exciting momentum building within the Boston Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network. This year, our focus is clear: invigorating our network by enhancing visibility, deepening engagement, and amplifying the incredible resources available to our community.

WEN Boston is more than just a professional organization—it’s a dynamic hub of connection, education, and opportunity. With a passionate and dedicated Board of Directors at the helm, we’re actively gathering feedback from our members and sponsors to shape upcoming events and content around what matters most to you. Your voice is essential—if you haven’t already, please take a moment to complete our member survey. We want to hear from you.

In response to the ongoing changes in the energy job market as well as your evolving professional growth, we’ve rolled out a Personal Branding Series to help you strengthen your presence and tell your professional story with confidence. We’re also exploring ways to increase visibility of local job opportunities, connecting you with the roles and organizations that need your talent.

Beyond professional development, we’re diving into topics that are crucial in today’s climate—from financial literacy and planning to local energy market trends through expert panels and interactive discussions. Our goal is to be responsive, proactive, and relevant—to provide real value to both individuals and the industry at large.

We recognize that true engagement happens when there’s room to connect authentically. That’s why we’re excited about our informal monthly meet-ups, held on the first Sunday of each month. These casual gatherings are a great way to learn more about WEN Boston, meet members, and share your ideas. Come make a connection and tell us what you want to see more of.

Now more than ever, WEN has a unique opportunity to fill the gaps that many individuals and organizations are navigating. But we can’t do it alone—we need your ideas, your energy, and your voice. Let’s continue the conversation and work together to build a stronger, more empowered community.

Thank you for being part of WEN Boston. We can’t wait to connect with you soon.

Warmly,

Desiree Amadeo

President, Women’s Energy Network – Boston Chapter
