Happy New Year from the Boston Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network!

As we begin 2023, we look forward to another year of fun and enriching WEN Boston events and programming!  We extend our sincere thanks to our 2022 President, Linette Casey, past President Allison Porter, and board members for all of the hard work, dedication, and leadership over the past year.  We also welcome our new board members and look forward to another exciting year focused on our pillars of expertise, professional development, and community events to amplify the advancement of women in the energy industry.

I am honored to serve as President of the Boston Chapter and look forward to working with this dynamic community! I have enjoyed participating in the growth of our chapter over the last few years. It’s hard to believe we are entering our sixth year! We have many accomplishments to celebrate this past year from implementing executive programming, launching a college outreach program, DE&I engagements, and establishing a WEN Boston Educational Fund 501 (c) (3) to invest in the future of women in STEM education while continuing to grow our membership and sponsor community. The WEN Boston Board is planning so many exciting events for this year, and we look forward to engaging and spending time with you in the coming months. Women are fundamental in shaping the future of energy and we couldn’t be more passionate to be a part of it!

Thank you to our WEN members and sponsors for your ongoing partnership and support which has been critical to providing our members with exceptional programming, expansive networking, and development opportunities. We welcome new members to join us to learn more about clean energy, climate change, and empowering women’s leadership. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me to learn more about our chapter and how you can join or become more involved!
